All Video to Audio Converter is a useful video editing tool that isolates audio and extracts it into a separate audio file.
While there are many tools that convert video and audio from one format to another, there aren’t nearly as many that convert video to audio, and All Video to Audio Converter is a program that fills that niche. This will isolate all audio included in a video container and extract it to its own standalone audio file. The process is fast, and the program is easy to use thanks to a well-designed user interface.
All Video to Audio Converter cannot produce a video files sans audio. It can; however, convert the found audio into a wide range of formats regardless of the original audio format. A wide range of video types are supported, including AVI, MP4, WMV, and VOB. Supported formats for audio output include AAC, WMA, MP3, and WAV. The program also has a built-in preview mechanism so that you can listen to what it will sound like after format and other settings have been applied.
All Video to Audio Converter does support batching, so you can add any number of videos to the queue. You can rearrange file priority and configure settings on a per-batch and per-file basis. When you start the process, the program will work on the batch unattended, and you can add items to the queue and change settings even while a batch is being processed. Note that batching is disabled in the trial version. It will simply stop after each conversion and wait for you to start it again. If you want to enable batching, you’ll need to upgrade to the full edition by paying.
The user interface has full drag and drop support, so you can drag videos from a file explorer and drop them onto the queue. The program also has multilingual support. The default is English, but you can change the UI and help to French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Perhaps the biggest issue with All Video to Audio Converter is the lack of editing tools. You can’t trim video, and you also can’t trim the resulting audio. If trimming is required, you’ll have to use another program before or after the video-to-audio conversion. There’s also no options for audio characteristics and quality. Audio is dumped from the video as close to the original source as possible. If you want to manipulate it, you’ll have to do it in another program after the fact. It would be nice to have the option to do that before the audio had already been put through another conversion process.
